I feel the same, even if I'm not really feeling the CAS this year, I want to update all my guys. Though, in reality, it sounds better in my head since I'm in the same boat as you when it comes to number of guys in the back log... not to mention Wulf and Core's many many alter egos!

Yeah- if it didn't take 2 days to make a guy, with all the moves and crap. Man, slogging through those taunts just to see what's what- I could deal if it wasn't for the movesets. I love making the guys, but the movesets and entrances have to be the biggest pains in the ass. Half the time the entrance shit glitches out and I have to exit and come back in, and wait for it to load, and wait, and wait...

I know, right!?! Hell, I had the game crash on the xbox twice working on my guys friday night. Once during Core's entrance, the other while tweaking Wulf's look. And the lag, oh fuck, the lag...

Yeah, I actually have the game installed on an external hard drive, and I'm considering moving some games around to get it on the internal in hopes that it might MAYBE help with the load times at least a little bit, and MAYBE stabilize it a tad, but it's the only game I have that has such atrocious load times and junk.
On a completely separate note, I can't wait for the Chikara game from the dude that did Action Arcade Wrestling on the 360. It looks insane, and has goofy moves like fireballs and shit, and you KNOW if there's com vs. com I'll probably be running an OCW side fed on that bad daddy. Who says lightning has no place in pro wrestling? lol

Aren't games meant to run faster on an external hard drive? Or at least if it's faster than the internal at least, that's how it feels for me anyway.

Technically they could, but they usually don't. I dunno though, since the drive I'm using is USB 3.0 or whatever it is, it might be as fast. I just know with my PCs, I've never seen an external drive that was as fast as the internal ones I have. Externals tend to "sleep" until they're called upon, at which point they spin up and go- out of the 5 I've had, 3 do/did this, as well as some of the laptop HDs I use to port around shows and movies, though they didn't when they were in the laptops, so I dunno. I've just been conditioned to think of internal drives as faster, higher performance and generally faster.

Slight mods made to Wulf and Core, mainly cosmetic, and Dragune needs an entrance and moveset, and he will be good to go. Plan on having all three finished later today and uploaded.

Quick update, Wulf and Core have been modded, nothing major, mainly image mods, and in a shocking turn, Dragune is still awaiting a moveset and entrance, while Monn 'Joogra is at 99% done, just gotta tweak stats a twitch and he's done. Working on his tatts to try and get an old school monochromatic bastard version got me in the groove and just pumped him out, w00t. No one's uploaded yet though, gonna go ahead and finish Drag and just pop all four at once. May go ahead and do a Tiffany as well just so Ashley isn't so lonely.  |

Heard, I have one more guy I'm gonna crank out and then I'm itching to do a female Bloodraven. And entrances for half of 'em because I hate hate HATE doing entrances this year.
I would pay for a pack of old entrances, but what do we get instead? A really lame set of showcase matches with superstars no one asked for.
Well, except the Big Bossman. I'm down with that.

Yeah, I kind'a wish someone had made the whole Sunny in Philadelphia group. But having Frank in his Trashman attire was awesome enough that I had to do something with him. lol. I'm definitely eager to get rollin', this ban is gonna kill me. 2 weeks with no way to appeal, just boom. Argh, it sucks. But the 26th'll be here before I know it, I'm sure. And I do still have some stuff to work on in the meantime. |
