Well, you pretty much know what I'm going to say. Same thing as most of the gaming sites and stuff- it's awesome.
Basically, it's like they took the tried-and-proven Street Fighter formula and tossed it in the 3D realm with a few new fighters. If you've played the characters before, the majority of their moves work the same as they have in just about any Street Fighter iteration, with the exception of M. Bison; he seems to have lost a step, being vastly superior in the Street Fighter Alpha games. His aerial moves are harder to pull off, but he's still a contender.
The new characters are decent but nothing major- Crimson Viper reminds me somewhat of Iori from King of Fighters, Abel is pretty much a mix of moves with a Jean-Claude Van Damme personality, Rufus is a fat Ryu/Ken clone with similar move commands and similar moves (though his dragon punch is more of an aerial hundred-hand slap, and doesn't hit often), and El Fuerte is a luchadore wrestler and pretty much the only guy that has a really unique control scheme. He runs and attacks, with each button pressed having a different attack, and he can also dash backwards and bounce off the "ropes" (side of the screen), and bounce off in mid-air as well.
The boss is a bastard, having a ton of moves from different fighters. Beat him in one round and he amps up, hitting ramped-up super moves almost exclusively, including a mini black hole that he uses to pull you in before bashing you to death. He's a badass, no mistake there.
I haven't unlocked anyone yet, but so far the alternate costumes that came with the Limited Edition are pretty nifty.
Overall, it's good stuff with a few new additions- a last-ditch effort "revenge" super move and the Focus moves- that all make for a deeper, more strategic fighter. Pretty damned good, if you ask me, and if you're a fan of the series... well, you need this. Period.
There's also rumor of them using this engine to revitalize the Marvel vs. Capcom franchise... and you KNOW I'll be waiting for THAT one.
