Eric Young makes his way out from the back and addresses the crowd.
Eric: WHOA, hold on there, folks! Everybody get'cher asses back in the seats. We ain't done here tonight!
The fans start to return to their seats. Eric waits a few moments and then continues.
Eric: Now as y'all can likely tell, I'm a boneified 100% Texan-American, and if there's one holiday that's dear to my heart, it's July 4th. Independence Day.
The crowd cheers their approval, and Eric nods, smiling, waiting for things to die down enough to continue.
Eric: See, the way I'm lookin' at it, today is the day we celebrate our country, our freedom, and the people that keep that freedom alive, even if we use that freedom to elect an unqualified president that specializes in disgracing our country overseas and trying to turn us into a socialist country, all in his first half year of office... uh, I mean, whoops, did I say that?
The fans' reaction is mixed, so he presses forward.
Eric: But as I was lookin' at the card, one thing seemed like it was missin'. Yep, everyone was on the card, and yeah, the show was great, but nowhere did I get to see the United States Championship defended.
The fans cheer some more, anxious to see who will be competing for the hotly-contested title.
Eric: And hey, I know it ain't a pay-per-view, but I was also thinking that if all of the other singles titles were competed for... the World Championship should be somewhere in there, too.
The fans erupt, ready for more!
Eric: But how to decide who should get a shot? So I started playing around with numbers. 22 wrestlers... 2 champions to defend their belts... I started thinking to myself, what if we had a 20-man- and woman- rumble to determine who would get a real blast out of our independence day?
So here's how this'll work. Backstage, everyone's drawn their numbers. All 20 wrestlers that've already wrestled tonight will get in that right and bust their asses, and the two folks that are competing at the end of this match will both be getting title shots- TONIGHT- with the winner going on to face the World Champion, Osiris!
The crowd erupts once more, as they so often do at the mention of extra matches!
Eric: So here we go! Whoever drew numbers one and two- get your asses out here and work for those title shots! And thank you all!
Eric drops the mic and waves to the crowd. On cue, red, white and blue fireworks erupt all around the stage, and he makes his way to the back... and we're underway!
