Figured I'd compile the results here, just for those that may or may not be interested.
Almost all characters came with maxed stats. I went through and bumped them down to roughly half what they were, so everyone is between 48-51 OVR.
I don't know how long I'm going to keep this going, as it's just testing, but I want to see at least 2 months' in-game, so we'll see how everything rolls.
All characters are Marvel or DC with the exception of the Chupster (mine) and Arachnid (an original superheroish caw I saw). Each are designated as face or heel as would generally be accepted. Raw is the Marvel brand, Smackdown is DC. Here's the starting roster & setup:

The Sinestro Corps (Sinestro & Cyborg Superman)
The Marauders (Mr. Sinister & Sabretooth)
The Avengers (Captain America, Thor & the Hulk)
Symbiote Power (Venom & Carnage)
And other relationships (allies/enemies) are set up generally as you would expect, + Chupa being an ally of Hulk's and Arachnid hating on Spider-Man and Spider-Woman.
Week 1 Results:
The Abomination vs. Red Hulk- The Abomination defeated the Red Hulk after jumping him before the match and nailing him with stunners. Rulk got some good offense, but it just wasn't enough to counter the massive asskicking he suffered early on. NEWS: they're now enemies. Well fucking duh.
WINNER: The Abomination
The Chupacabra vs. Doctor Doom- The Chupacabra defeated Doctor Doom in a close match that saw Doom hitting his 8-million move custom finisher- poison mist to like 3 german suplexes to a cranium crush to a facebuster- after a simple-yet-effective russian legsweep. After the match, the Chupster tried to make peace with the Latverian monarch, but Doom slapped his hand away in disgust and departed the premises.
WINNER: The Chupacabra
The Hulk vs. Sabretooth- Very back-and-forth match that saw the Hulk win after a cyclone finisher, forcing Sabretooth to submit to a surfboard stretch. After the match, the Abomination charged the ring and attacked Hulk with a lead pipe! NEWS: Hulk & Abomination's rivalry has gotten worse. Well no shit.
WINNER: The Hulk
Cable vs. Carnage, no DQ: Lots of use of chairs and the hammer. So many hammershots. Carnage wins after- you got it- a hammershot.
WINNER: Carnage
Thor vs. Superman vs. Moon Knight, no DQ elimination match- Lots of fighting all around, but Moon Knight was clearly the victor. Hit Thor early on with his overdrive finisher, then pinned Superman after a regular move, then pinned Thor after another overdrive. Does the game have a championship advantage?
WINNER: Moon Knight
Red She-Hulk vs. Spider-Woman & Black Cat, tag handicap match- There's definitely a championship advantage, at least for singles wrestlers. She-Hulk tore the other two up, even hitting a pair of finishers and getting a CLOSE 2-count on Black Cat, but Black Cat got a kip-up that gave her a finisher and she put She-Hulk away for the win. If not for the kip-up, She-Hulk would've ran away with this!
WINNERS: Spider-Woman & Black Cat
Heroes for Hire vs. Justice League (Superman & Batman) nontitle- Another very back & forth match with a lot of good tagging, use of double-team moves, and general goodness, but Heroes for Hire had the slight advantage all match. One particularly cool bit saw Batman go to the apron, then jump in with a dropkick, but Iron Fist had already ran over and clotheslined Superman off the apron so Bats hit nothing but air. Iron Fist wins it on Supes after an uppercut finisher. NEWS: Batman & Superman's friendship has grown stronger!!! Awwwww, that's so sweet.
WINNERS: Heroes for Hire
Blue Beetle vs. Bizarro- Bizarro had this locked down at the beginning, beating on Beetle and sending him to the outside, then clubbing him off the apron twice as he tried to get in. Batman ran to ringside and proceeded to do absolutely nothing. Beetle makes a massive comeback and wins with a camel clutch. After the match, the match is ordered to restart as a submission match! Bizarro tries his hardest, but dammit, he just can't get it, and Beetle wins again with a camel clutch.
WINNER: Blue Beetle (twice)
Batman vs. Arachnid- This is the first squash match I've seen, and it wasn't a TOTAL squash- but Batman DID get his ass kicked all match! Arachnid takes it with a pinfall after a gory bomb.
WINNER: Arachnid
Green Lantern vs. Lex Luthor- Lex attacks GL as he makes his entrance and hits a argentine clutch slam to submission stretch finisher on the concrete. They head inside for the bell and GL tries to make a comeback but it's short-lived. At one point GL gets fired up, but Lex just shut him down with a double-handed choke lift. Lex takes it with a pin after a hiptoss. A HIPTOSS. LOL
WINNER: Lex Luthor
Aquaman vs. Vance Archer vs. Santino Marella- I played this one just to get Archer & Marella off of the top spots, because if I altered it, it wouldn't have been a #1 contender match. I have no fucking clue how Aquaman qualifies to be the #1 contender to begin with, but whatever. At least they aren't WWE douches.
WINNER: Well, me. Or Aquaman. Whatever.
On to week 2!
