Hey everyone! So what's everyone been up to? I know it's been about three and a half years since there were any regular posts around here, figured I would start something for those that might wanna share. Not really a whole ton here- jumped back into the work force with a job at a call center, where I've been for closing in on 3 years. Started off on the phones, moved up to quality, then team manager, then we got bought out by Blackboard and I transferred to workforce management (basically making sure everyone's doing what they should be doing). My wife is now an RN and works at a hospital in Greenwood (about an hour away), where we'll be moving in the near future. Katie's about to start her second year of college, and Ben is about to jump into 6th grade (!!!) and has transitioned from a curly mohawk into a straight up Encino Man curly surfer cut. Jumped into a couple of bands, one made it over a year but I just ran out of time to do it, and the guys wanted to do nothing but originals in an area where that would just make it harder to get gigs than it already was (and trust me, we had to beg and scrape to get the two shows we did). But I wore my Chupster mask for both shows and that was awesome. Oh yeah, last year, the week before the new Godzilla premiere, I took the week off and split the time between working on a superhero poster for my team at work (which won a contest) and watching all 30+ Godzilla movies in order, just to say I did it, culminating with seeing the new flick, which was kind'a meh, but as we're gonna get a sequel AND another Japanese flick out of it, I'm okay with that! Got the WWE Network but pretty much just watch the PPVs, and of course the superhero explosion of movies and TV have been like the realization of a childhood dream. So what's up with y'all?

Woo, catch up time. Uh, let's see... I started a new job in '12 at Altec Industries, beginning on the cutting machines, a plasma cutter specifically. Did that for a while, before learning all the machines, taking the in-house class and becoming a welder, then becoming a “water-spider” (essentially hunting down/driving new parts for various reasons) before coming back to the cutting machines as the Group Lead for the area. I currently have seven machines I'm over (4 lasers, 2 press breaks, and a drill-press/detailer), and I can happily say I'm proficient on every one of them The job is super stressful, hectic, and when things go bad, they do so catastrophically, but can proudly say I love the job. The long hours with little off time, eh, not so much, but the pays great! Personally, it's been awesome. Mike and I finally got to get married legally March 22, 2014, in Maryland, and then got to see Virginia's ban struck not long after. This November we will celebrate 12 years together! I'm starting college again this fall, and plan to finally finish within a year and a half-ish to get my bachelors. It'll be in Business Management Information Systems. I've been getting back into drawing slowly, bought a medium sized Wacom Intuos Pro a couple years back with the prospect of getting hardcore, yet it's sat with little use due to time. Mainly I just doodle and goof off. Haven't done hardly any gaming lately, though that's more due to the games I've tried, just don't get into them like I used to. I mainly use them for creative ideas. My toy collection has gotten absurd... I was content with just the Pursuit of Cobra joes I started collecting, then a certain goat humper introduced me to Marvel U, and it deteriorated from there lmao. I've currently got easily close to the $10k range worth of toys ranging from McFarlane, to G.I. Joe, Nick's TMNT line, MU, DC Multiverse, and I don't even know what all else. I really enjoy doing diorama's when I can, too. E-Fed/Wrestling wise, I don't watch any wrestling anymore. The entertainment side has eclipsed the wrestling side so much I just can't get into it, and I really don't find it that interesting when I do try to watch. And I've tried to get back into fedding, but everytime I buy a new game and start to make my guys it just seems too over complicated for a shoddy result. I will pour hours into making a guy only to find myself restricted from either looks or move-sets or abilities. And the games themselves don't really play that great anymore. Maybe it's nostalgia talking, but I don't know. Mainly Mikey and I just hang at home and watch TV, either Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon, though we are now taking a very serious dedication to getting healthier and back into shape. Oh, and books/comics... don't get me started on that ...I guess that's a long winded short version, although I guess I never really was known for being brief XD

I actually started scaling back on my toy collecting- I'm about to get rid of a ton of 'em just because they've been sitting in boxes since our last move (and pending next move sometime in the next month or so, lol), but I do have a handful of Funco Pop figures on my desk at work: I still grab the occasional figure but not nearly as much anymore, but Ben's collection has been getting pretty monstrous, with Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees and Predators (and a ton of Funco Pops, and pretty much most of the Skylanders and all of the Infinity figures so far, and wrestlers, and... jeez), so I get to mess with a lot by proxy anyway. I hear you on the wrestling though. Anymore I watch the WWE PPVs (which have been decent) and other assorted stuff- if you want just pure fun matches, ROH is the way to go. Their recent Best of the Best PPV (which I haven't even finished yet, but not for lack of wanting to) was INSANE from the opening match, and while there's some "entertainment" aspects, it's nowhere near as heavy and they don't force it all down your throat like WWE. Heh. Congrats on the wedding! I still can't believe in this day and age anyone even cares who marries who. 'Course, the older I get, the more I can't believe anyway. World's going to hell in a handbasket!!! lol Oh yeah, and got back into tabletop gaming. Had some friends that got me back into HeroClix, which got expensive, but I ended up getting back out after about a year because my playgroup was just insufferable, and managed to make all the money I had spent back plus some, so that was cool. Right now we're mainly playing: DC DeckBuilding Game - stupid name, great game. Easy to learn, quick to setup and play, expansions if you want 'em (and they ARE cool), but the base game(s) (as some of the expansions like Forever Evil are standalone games as well) are so much fun it's just up to you. A lil steep pricewise but you can get deals on Amazon.com. King of Tokyo - SUPER fun kaiju board game. Again, easy to learn, setup and play, and the most fun I've had with a boardgame. It has 2 expansions which make it a little deeper and add characters, and it's a LOT more fun than the sequel game, King of New York, though that one's not too bad either. Talisman - used to have the second edition and loved it. Simplified tabletop D&D boardgame, more or less. Super fun but games are LONG, and there are a ton of expansions that, while fun, tend to overcomplicate the game. Also expensive, but I traded in some remaining Clix for most of our set. Definitely recommend the base game, and avoid the Dragons expansion, cuz it sucks. Cards Against Humanity - you should know what this is. Yes, we have the whole set, far as I know. Great drunk game.

My big addiction right now is the TMNT line, I've gotten almost all of the regular figures minus the newest out and some of the alternate looks for the turtles, plus all the vehicles. Some of them are just oh so right though, I've got 70 mousers at least, they are beasts! And I broke out for the Revoltech turtles, which are sweet as hell. Course, revoltech got me into other lines, like Queen's Blade, which look bad ass and also intrigue me with the whole “our clothes can come all the way off” feature I've been curious about ROH, but my interest to actually try is just in stasis or something. Too much bad after taste I guess. Ya, there's always gotta be 'those people' who feel the need to be all up in everyone's kool-aid talking bout how they're right, you're wrong, and you're a bad person for it. But meh, fuck it. Times are a changing and I have a slightly optimistic outlook for future generations... well, most of them. I've always wanted to try table top gaming, but sadly in my area the only people who are into it are extremely snarky jackass elitists. It's like a whole clique thing, like you gotta be in to be in. Although there was this Ghostbuster board game I wanted so fucking bad on Kickstarter, but I missed the deadline due to my email not notifying me of my reminder... I was hella sad /description Though, then again, it's not like I have people I hang with that I would play games with anyway lmao.

I do dig the turtle figures, and anything Revoltech is awesome. I keep up with a lot of the toy stuff on figures.com but I've hit that line where the quality of cheap figures kills me (like those new DC figures that are GI Joe sized but cost like $15 and have suck proportions and paint jobs), but I can't bring myself to spend a ton of money on the big stuff. Though I'm considering getting that $200 Deadpool that Sideshow is releasing cuz, well, it's fuckin' SEXY! lol Totally understand about the wrestling thing, it's like- I always wanna watch it, but every time I get the opportunity I usually find something else I want to do. At this point I'm seriously thinking about canceling the WWE Network cuz they're never gonna put the belt on anyone I really like, and I can download that stuff anyway. But ROH really does it up right - the only bad thing I can say about 'em is, sometimes it's hard to get into some of the guys, cuz generally you don't know who the hell 90% of their roster is, but damn if they don't get you into it. They came to town once a while back (and never came back, which sucks because I had front row tickets- AGAIN) and we ended up on the DVD release of the event a lil bit. But they just do stuff you don't see anywhere else. Heard ya on the gaming thing. When I got back into Heroclix I had a small gaming group but everyone kept trying to get me to go out and play, and I've heard good things about a couple of places, but I just saw so many trash-talking self-centered assholes just walking into places like that that I couldn't get into it. Luckily I have some friends from work + the family, so generally I almost always have some folks I can play games with when it comes down to it. Otherwise I wouldn't bother, cuz God knows the good stuff costs $40 a game at least. I won't even mention the Cthulhu Wars game that got kickstartered- base game is like $200 and with expansions, it's over $1000, but you can get it on their website altogether for only like $600. Jeez. lol That's one reason I've kind of gotten addicted to YouTube videos showing how games are played. I just hardly have time to game as is, so simple, quick and fun are all kind of key elements of anything I'm gonna grab. I'm also slowly but surely working on a wrestling card game myself, based off an old dice game I used to play when I was a teen (and still occasionally play with my son), but that's still a super long way off. But it gives me a good excuse for my son and I to play with his WWE figures... and turtle figures... and superheroes... and... well, you get the idea.

Hey guys! This is kaveeks! I couldn't for the life of me figure out what my password was for my account amd I no longer have the email that I once used for my user name so there's no retrieving the password I don't think, so I just made a new account so I could post in this topic
It's weird I haven't been on this board in so long, but just tonight I had an urge to visit and read some of the old promos and stuff, not expecting to see that anyone would have posted here in a long time, when lo and behold so many of you have just recently visited! I mean 2015 and 2014 seem pretty recent in my mind. this is so great!
I miss you guys. So many great memories, but they feel like such a long time ago!
I've been doing pretty good these past several years. Still at my job as a mechanic at pearl harbor ship yard, same old same old.
If anyone is visiting the boards lately, hit me back, I'd love to talk to you guys more, and dust some cob webs off of these forums. The social boards at least!

Hey man! I tried to change your account settings, but it looks like they took away all of the in-depth tools we used to have here- I'll keep looking into it, but though I can see both accounts' emails, I can't change 'em. ProBoards used to have WAAAAAAAAAY more admin options. Can't even reset your password. Figures. lol I don't play it a ton, but it seems like every time I play Rock Band, your band's scores are the ones that always come up!

Hey guys, long time no see, I too have been visiting here, reading old promos and remembering the good days, I was here all too short, I miss this place. Nice to see you guys feel the same, hope we can stay in touch and like Veeks says, hang on the social boards at least.
I would love to see some of the old pictures and/or videos from 2008 when I was most active.
Hope everyone is doing well.

Oh yeah chups, you can't beat my scores, I am the rock band MASTER! I used to play it a ton but since they stopped making dlc a couple years ago I kinda stopped playing too. But i was super excited when they announced 4 was coming out, not too impressed with the final product though. I like the new songs and the fact that theyre trying to make all the old songs available but the game seems stripped down. I understand it's because harmonics is now a much smaller group and they don't have the financial backing of mtv anymore, so it's more basic and streamline. But the game just doesn't seem finished. I would rather they have just kept releasing songs on the 360 for rockband 3. I would play it forever! Rock band 3 as a base platform just seems much better than rock band 4 is looking right now. Even the graphics seem worse somehow. Xbox one grafics worse than 360?
I dont think the ions drums works on the Xbox one either. Havent tried mines yet but that's what I heard.
Good to see ya CK! Long time no see!, what ya been up to?

Wow, how Ironic it is that I was just coming here to see if I could find some recent pics of some OCW alumni to recreate in 2k16 with the face photo import, and logo import, and the one guy I was dying to re-create, was KUNK! Gotta have the very first Rival in the new game. I still run into one or two guys now and then, but this is always the fallback if I need to re-connect with the past. So many memories

FK, if I ever get a game you have, lol- I see you in Battlefield like all the time, just haven't had time to pick it up. Seems like soon as I got an XBox One, we got a swarm of games (Christmas + Live Gold freebies) and I just ain't even gotten to it. Hell, I got Halo 5 and Master Chief Collection and I've only played them once apiece. lol On a separate note, I'm pulling a lot of my old Wrestling MPire mods and stuff over into WWF No Mercy. Sort of, anyway, I'm redoing them from scratch, but the basic gist is, I'm doing superheroes again, but I'll be adding in OCW stuff once I figure out how to do it best- some of those No Mercy textures wrap really weird. Anywho, y'all know I'll post up something once I have significant progress. Right now I just have 7 guys and 5 weapons done, so it'll probably be a minute. Also quit the job about 3 months ago and been playing semi-retired for the time being due to my old tv job cutting me a retirement check, so that's been fun- we moved anywho, and the 80-90 minute commute (one way) was the drizzling shits. Getting ready to hopefully get back into school! w00t Oh, and the gamertag got swapped up to NsidiousDrChupa, because well, they only allow that many characters. Assholes. Planning on having a YouTube channel if I can ever get my video open finished. Here's some pics of the mod stuff, added as I do it. Still using Freedom Force skins, and doin' what I can as I go. www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10154092247143326.1073741832.507898325&type=1&l=4a7ae01101

Well Howdy guys!!!! (Talk about long time no see.) Life has been good for me & the family. Me & the wife have been married for 16 years in October. We got married in 2000 to make it easier to remember, LOL. Our oldest Bindi turns 13 in July & has been adjusting to hearing with her cochial implant since December. For those that don't know she is hearing impaired since birth & wears hearing aids. Last month she heard birds chirping for the first time in her life. That was a super good day! Plus she is rocking a half-shaved head since the surgery & she loves it. We even dyed her hair black & aqua blue, at her request. Our youngest Lola just turned 10 in April & she is a pistol! She always makes us laugh & looks on the bright side of life.
I manage 4 apartment complexes & have been at this job for 3 years. I really enjoy it because its all about helping people. Sure there are the occasional whiners & complainers, but thats life! My hobbies are camping ALOT, we have a popup camper, & wasting time on my phone. Ive got a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge & have some PS1 games loaded on it. Im currently playing Smackdown 2 & made some OCW guys on it.
Man its good to see that everyone is doing good & stuff. *sniff sniff*

Hey all!
So, I decided to check this place out once again, see if anyone had been active and surprise surprise! (not really haha) there's still some of us posting here every now and then. It's awesome to see how far everyone had come since this place was last active (like.... 2011? Wow, that's a long ass time).
As for in my life since 2011? I graduated University in 2012, spent a year looking for a job that I really wanted but everyone wanted experience over grades, which I had none of so I ended up at the place I've been at for almost 3 years now, started in 2014 as a Data Entry Admin and since April of this year I was made the Team Leader, which has been a great experience for me but there has been a ton f**K of stress over the last couple of months that I've made me start to look elsewhere now.
Gaming and Wrestling has literally stayed the same ever since, got both Xbox One and PS4 and I game plenty on PC as well. Recently got back into the WWE games since 2k15 and I think they have been slowly getting better since going full simulation rather than arcade but I do miss the ol' Smackdown/No Mercy style gameplay, I do wish there was an alternative to WWE.
Relationship status? Pretty much the same since 2011 haha, I did have one in 2013, which lasted a year but it started getting weird towards the end of it and it needed to end.
I hope everyone is going well, especially considering the times we live in now and how the US election will change not just the USA, but the UK and the rest of the world too. Talk to you guys later!
