OCW Ragnarok II: It's Back and Madder Than HELL!!!
featuring a Chance at Immortality!
Show Link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kZ8stxoo9Y
Here we are, folks! OCW's final event. The main concept of the show is, there will be a title defense for each division. After the title defense, whoever wins will go on to face as many wrestlers as he can in a gauntlet, attempting to defeat enough wrestlers to become OCW's greatest champion for that belt! (The explanation for this is botched in the video until later on in it, ignore that, it had been a while and I didn't remember. lol)
That said, the person that defeats the champion and ends the gauntlet will be OCW's final champion for that division, and will be taking the gold home with them!
OCW TV Title #1 Contender 4-Way Elimination:
Belle vs. the Chupacabra vs. Joker vs. Trish Extreme vs. the Black Widow Lee vs. Sylas Styles
This one is, of course, a total clusterfuck. Just a lot of aimless action, and a lot of the ladies in the match kicking people left, right and center, but when the eliminations finally started, they snowballed! Within maybe the same minute, Chupa had Joker on the ropes and was chewing on his face, when Belle whipped Chups to the corner. Sylas took advantage and pinned Joker, eliminating him. Then Sylas pins Trish with a bridging suplex pin. Chupa Goathammers Sylas as Belle locks Black Widow Lee in the Absolute Threshold, and Chupa pins Sylas JUST BEFORE Lee taps out to Belle! Chupa hits the Decrapitator, and Belle is out- all of this in maybe the last 2 minutes of the match! Like a goddamn avalanche of eliminations.
Order Out:
1. Joker by Sylas Styles (Chupa's forehead bite)
2. Trish Extreme by Sylas Styles (bridging german suplex pin)
3. Sylas Styles by the Chupacabra (Goathammer/jackhammer pin)
4. The Black Widow Lee by Belle (Absolute Threshold/anaconda vise)
5. Belle by the Chupacabra (Decrapitator/swinging stunner)
Winner and #1 contender to the TV Championship, the Chupacabra!
OCW Cruiserweight Championship:
Anarchy vs. Logan Legend (c)
Pretty short match, with both men getting in offense, but Anarchy took the champ down with the Breakdown (fameasser).
Winner and new OCW Cruiserweight Champion, Anarchy!
Time for Anarchy's Chance at Immortality! In order to become OCW's greatest Cruiserweight Champion ever, he'll have to make 8 defenses to defeat "Zombie" Matt Manning's record of 7 defenses!
OCW Cruiserweight Chance at Immortality Defense 1:
Anarchy (c) vs. Trish Extreme
Another pretty short match, with Anarchy hitting some flying offense, and taking Trish down with a twisting senton splash off the top rope! Impressive squash match for the rookie.
Winner and still OCW Cruiserweight Champion, Anarchy!
OCW Cruiserweight Chance at Immortality Defense 2:
Anarchy (c) vs. The Tarantula
I wonder if Anarchy could deliver pizza in 5 minutes or less, too? The guy just REFUSES to have a long match. Took Tarantula out with a Breakdown!
Winner and still OCW Cruiserweight Champion, Anarchy!
OCW Cruiserweight Chance at Immortality Defense 3:
Anarchy (c) vs. Belle
Also a squash match, but in the wrong direction! Belle, in her second match of the evening, whoops the shit out of Anarchy, taking him down in like 2 minutes! One TUFF Gong (knees to regal neckbreaker) and Anarchy is down and out, and he has failed at his Chance at Immortality! And Belle will be taking home the OCW Cruiserweight Title!
Winner and new OCW Cruiserweight Champion, Belle!
Anarchy ties for 5th place amongst the greatest OCW Cruiserweight Champions!
1. "Zombie" Matt Manning - 7 defenses
2. Tetsuo - 6
3. (tie) Tetsuo, "The Hammer" David Sledge & "Hellrat" Craig Helman - 4
4. (tie) "Zombie" Matt Manning, Bloodraven, Feng Sun Leroy, Joshua Hellburn, & Angel - 3
5. (tie) Legendary Jason Athens, Tetsuo, Sylas Styles, "Perfect-Shawn" Shawn Youngblood, Angel, Bloodraven, Werwulf, & Anarchy - 2
#1 Tag Team Contender Match:
Cornerstone vs. The Amazing Spider-Men
Overly long match with some back-and-forth, but honestly, Cornerstone had this from the word go. For whatever reason, every time Reinhardt gets tagged into the ring, he hits a move or two and then tags right back out. And hits a roll-through snap mare/kick combo so, SOOOO many times. Jarvick throws Reinhardt missile-style into Lee for the pin and the win.
Winners and #1 contenders to the Tag Team titles, Cornerstone!
OCW Television Championship:
The Chupacabra vs. Zero (c)
Kunk runs out and attacks Zero before the match!
Total squash match, thanks to Kunk! Chupa hits a Goathammer for a ropebreak, so he nails Zero with a sit down butterfly driver for the 3!
Winner and new OCW Television Champion, the Chupacabra!
And the Chupster gets a Chance at Immortality! In order to become the greatest OCW Television Champion ever, he'll need to make 12 defenses to beat Ray's record of 11!
OCW Television Chance at Immortality Defense 1:
The Chupacabra (c) vs. "Bandit" Eric Wilson
Tonight is just a night of squash matches! Bandit pulls some offense, but the Chupster hits the Goathammer for the pin in under 3 minutes!
Winner and still OCW Television Champion, the Chupacabra!
OCW Television Chance at Immortality Defense 1:
The Chupacabra (c) vs. Moonshadow
Very back-and-forth affair, but Moonshadow hits a twisting neckbreaker and slaps on a camel clutch to make the champ tap! Moonshadow takes home the OCW Television Championship!
Winner and new OCW Television Champion, Moonshadow!
Chupa doesn't even really register on the grid with his paltry 1 title defense. For shame, dude!
6-Man Elimination Tag:
The Elite ("Bandit" Eric Wilson, Kain, & Teabag) vs. the cTn (Dragune, Manticore & Werwulf)
During the Elite's entrance, the cTn runs down and attacks them!
Dragune and Manticore run down and attack Kain and Teabag respectively! It doesn't really have much of an effect on the match... at first. The Elite dominates and gets the first elimination when Teabag hits the Ground Zero (punches to backbreaker) on Dragune and pins him, but about halfway through, the members of the Elite suffer from some strategy issues, leaving the ring when they could clearly finish folks off, repeatedly tagging each other in and out like they don't want to be there, and the cTn capitalizes on that! Manticore eliminates Kain and Bandit in short order, and though he puts up a fight, Manticore eliminates Teabag to win the match for his team! The Coffin Puppets survive!
Order Out:
1. Dragune by Teabag (Ground Zero/punches to backbreaker CAF)
2. Kain by Manticore (Intestinal Impaler/spear)
3. Bandit by Manticore (Malicious Intent/code blue)
4. Teabag by Manticore (Malicious Intent)
Winners, the Creatures of the Night!
OCW Tag Team Championship:
Cornerstone vs. Destruction (c)
Jarvick Redrock pretty much plays the roll of punching bag in this match, but Reinhardt hits a lot of good offense. Moonshadow busts Jarvick open with a running ddt. Overall a much longer match than it needed to be. Moonshadow gets the pin after Pain throws him into Redrock.
Winners and still OCW Tag Team Champions, Destruction!
Time for Destruction's Chance at Immortality! The champs retain, so that gives them a starting total of 1 defense! They'll need to make 7 more defenses to break the record 7 held by both the original Coffin Puppets and the Samoan Headhunters!
OCW Tag Team Chance at Immortality Defense:
Destruction (c) vs. the Coffin Puppets
The Coffin Puppets make their second appearance of the night, and it's decent with some back-and-forth, but it all comes down to Pain hitting the Hellbringer (pedigree) on Werwulf for the 1, 2, 3!
Winners and still OCW Tag Team Champions, Destruction!
OCW Tag Team Chance at Immortality Defense:
Destruction (c) vs. the Amazing Spider-Men
The champs take it to the Spider-Men and Pain pins Lee after a moonlight drive!
Winners and still OCW Tag Team Champions, Destruction!
OCW Tag Team Chance at Immortality Defense:
Destruction (c) vs. the Defiants (Belle & Kain)
I was expecting a really good, longer match with the folks involved, but the return of the Defiants is short-lived as Moonshadow pins Belle off of a PUSH. I mean, the dude SHOVED HER and got the pin! (Then again, it is like her third match of the evening.)
Winners and still OCW Tag Team Champions, Destruction!
OCW Tag Team Chance at Immortality Defense:
Destruction (c) vs. the Elite (Bandit & Teabag)
The cTn runs down and attacks the Elite during their entrance!
An even bigger squash than the last match! I don't know why the cTn would wanna give Destruction a win, but Pain puts Teabag away quick with a Hellbringer.
Winners and still OCW Tag Team Champions, Destruction!
OCW Tag Team Chance at Immortality Defense:
Destruction (c) vs. the MegaPowers (Chupa & Kunk)
Now THIS ended up being a good match! Serious offense by everyone in the match and just a good match all around, the Chupacabra gets the pin after a samoan drop, and the MegaPowers are taking the Tag straps home with them!
Winners and new OCW Tag Team Champions, the MegaPowers!
Destruction ends up with a grand total of 5 defenses, which doesn't beat the #1 record, but it does tie them for #2 greatest Tag Team Champions in OCW history!!!
1. (tie) Coffin Puppets & Samoan Headhunters - 7 defenses
2. (tie) Chupa & the Rage, the RC Express, & Destruction - 5
3. The Natural Disasters - 4
OCW X-Violence Championship (TLC Rules):
Manticore vs. Kunk (c)
This one was just an unholy clusterfuck. Kunk tombstone piledrivered Manticore through a couple of tables, and every time a ladder was set up in the corner, the guys would sling each other into it, then do a face front suplex drop onto the mat instead of into the ladder. And it happened just over and over. Kunk definitely came off stronger in this match, but at the end both men went to the top of the ladder and Manticore headbutted Kunk and shoved him off of the ladder, then snagged the belt!
Winner and new OCW X-Violence Champion, Manticore!
Manticore gets his Chance at Immortality! However, he has a long road ahead of him if he wants to beat Scythe's record 11 defenses!!!
OCW X-Violence Chance at Immortality Defense:
X-Violence Rules: Manticore (c) vs. Werwulf
Manticore pretty much spanked Wulfie in this one. Not that Wulf didn't get in any offense, but Manticore just punished him, especially with the kendo stick. A clothesline (of all things) puts Werwulf down for the count.
Winner and still OCW X-Violence Champion, Manticore!
OCW X-Violence Chance at Immortality Defense:
First Blood: Manticore (c) vs. Riley Taylor
Putting a concussion-prone World Champion into a first blood match a little bit before his World Championship defense. What can possibly go wrong?
Riles actually puts on a helluva match, and he was hanging tough with the big man, but a fameasser into some mounted punches and Riley is busted open.
Winner and still OCW X-Violence Champion, Manticore!
OCW X-Violence Chance at Immortality Defense:
Hell in a Cell: Manticore (c) vs. Zero
Zero makes his second appearance of the night! Obviously pissed off that he lost the TV strap, Zero puts up one hell of a fight in a match that has a couple of hardcore elements but is largely a regular wrestling match. Zero hits the Sub-Zero (twist of fate off the corner) and manages to stop Manticore's bid at immortality!
Winner and new OCW X-Violence Champion, Zero!
Manticore ends up with 2 successful defenses, tying him with a zillion other folks for 6th greatest OCW X-Violence Champion ever! Oy vey.
OCW United States Championship:
Minion vs. Monn' Joogra (c)
Short, disappointingly one-sided match between two of OCW's true monsters. Minion gets in a little offense, but Monn just steamrollers the poor bastard. Monn hits the Zombified [tombstone piledriver] and Minion is just done.
Winner and still OCW United States Champion, Monn' Joogra!
If anyone has a shot at winning their Chance at Immortality tonight, it's Monn' Joogra! With one defense already under his belt and coming into the event with 3, that puts him at a total of 4 as he begins the gauntlet! And 4 defenses is already halfway to Chance Ramsey's record of 8! Here we go!
OCW United States Chance at Immortality Defense:
Monn' Joogra (c) vs. Kain
Dragune runs down and attacks Kain during his entrance!
The cTn bastards know this is their best shot at getting in the record books, and they aren't above cheating! Dragune runs down and attacks Kain for the second time tonight! Kain's third match of the night is a really, really short affair from there. Monn hits the Voodoo Drop (last ride) to put Kain away for the three!
Winner and still OCW United States Champion, Monn' Joogra!
OCW United States Chance at Immortality Defense:
Monn' Joogra (c) vs. Sylas Styles
Werwulf runs down and attacks Styles during his entrance!
More cTn shenanigans!!! Werwulf attacks Sylas before the match starts. Right at about 1 minute after the match starts, Sylas gets Zombified and that's the 1, 2, 3!
Winner and still OCW United States Champion, Monn' Joogra!
OCW United States Chance at Immortality Defense:
Monn' Joogra (c) vs. the Black Widow Lee
Lee puts up a helluva fight, and makes a strong showing that had me convinced he was going to take the big man down, but a missed cross body opened up an opportunity for Monn to destroy Lee and hit the Needle Da Doll (backbreaker to gutbuster) for the win!
Winner and still OCW United States Champion, Monn' Joogra!
OCW United States Chance at Immortality Defense:
Monn' Joogra (c) vs. "Fireheart" Lucas Reinhardt
Solid match where again, it looks like the challenger is gonna put the big monster away, and it was definitely Reinhardt's performance of the night, but Monn'Joogra hits a funky neck suplex to put the rookie away!
Winner and still OCW United States Champion, Monn' Joogra!
OCW United States Chance at Immortality Defense:
Monn' Joogra (c) vs. Joker
Joker tried, but it was just wasn't to be. Monn keeps him out of the ring, knocking him off of the apron twice, then just kills the poor guy. Joker gets Zombified for the loss!
Winner and still OCW United States Champion, Monn' Joogra!
OCW United States Chance at Immortality Defense:
Monn' Joogra (c) vs. Pain
Pain comes in having wrestled a zillion matches tonight, but he looks strong, fresh and mean, and ready to take down a monster! Until the match starts. Another 1 minute squashfest, with Pain getting Zombified at the end for the pin and the win!
Winner and still OCW United States Champion, Monn' Joogra!
OCW United States Chance at Immortality Defense:
Monn' Joogra (c) vs. Zero
Holy shit, it's Zero! After his performance against Manticore, he has to be the favorite to take down the Haitian beast! Very strong match with Zero taking it to the champ, and in the end, he hits the Sub-Zero for the win! Zero may have lost one belt, but he's taking 2 of them home tonight!!!
Winner and new OCW United States Champion, Zero!
Zero stops the Haitian beast, but with 10 defenses, Monn' Joogra blows away the others and wins his Championship Immortality, beating Chance Ramsey at 8 and Bane with 5 to take the top spot!!!
OCW World Championship:
Dragune vs. Riley Taylor (c)
Dragune attacks Riley from behind after his entrance!
And here we go with the final gauntlet of the night! And of course, the Creatures of the Night can't win anything legitimate, so Dragune attacks Riley from behind before the beginning of the match! He hits a spinning rock bottom, and Riley stays down for the 3! FOCK.
Winner and new OCW World Champion, Dragune!
With Dragune stealing the OCW World Championship, that gives him a Chance at Immortality!
OCW World Chance at Immortality Defense:
Dragune (c) vs. Minion
Minion attacks Dragune from behind after his entrance!
The cTn finally gets a taste of their own medicine as Minion attacks the new champion! However, this isn't as much of a squash and Dragune puts up a helluva fight! But Minion whips him out and pulls him back into a massive spear, and pins for the 1, 2, 3!!! Minion takes home the belt!
Winner and new OCW World Champion, Minion!
And that's it, folks! Thanks to everyone who was a part of OCW, and everyone that will be!
