Feel free to discuss stuff in here! This is the initial allies and enemies thread. We're just looking for you, the folks of OCW, to make sure your characters have the allies and enemies they need going into this first show! You don't have to have your grid filled up. Please only base these on previous time in the fed, if applicable. Level 5 allies/enemies are the best/worst, level 1 allies/enemies are those that like/dislike you, but not as much as higher levels. After this, you can request changes (BUT NOT CONSTANTLY), and the Committee will make changes based on promos and storylines. Thank you!

As of right now, (and unsurprisingly) Matty Ace has Ashley Ace as his Level 5 Ally, and vice versa. Although I'm not sure if it's possible for a male wrestler to have a female ally/rival or not, cause if not then..... fuck.

Sorry man, no can do on the Matty/Ashley ally thang. Apparently you just can't do squat together. Got a preview of Ashley's opponent for Backwoods Asskickin' in the forums tho!

Really fucking sucks over the allies thing DX Well, trying to think over allies and rivals now, and I seriously can't think of one. Well, for rivals it's kinda always been the cTn from the good old (really, really bad) days of Dark Destiny, so (with Wulf's permission) I'd probably have both Manticore and Werwulf on the list of rivals, perhaps at the moment lvl 3 for Manticore and lvl 2 for Werwulf (I think Zero had more matches with Manticore, especially for like titles). Other than that, I was also thinking of Minion, although that might be just because Matty has the X-V title right now so at the moment, he's the only thing that matters to Minion right now. Looks like Matty is gonna have to make some friends REAL quick without Ash to depend on haha.

Lemme know what level on Minion, he has everything open except 4.
I need to get Legion's settings set here shortly, at least for the bastards that are back. They'll all just pretty much be running in the background anyway. NPC fockers!

So for Minion, it's going to be either 5 or 1. Eh, I don't mind having it at 5 right now, I'm sure for a good while Minion will be gunning for Matty till he gets his hands on the X-V title so I don't mind having him at the top right now, if you want to set it like that.

Okie dokie folks, time is running out on getting these in before we start using them, so saddle up! With Backwoods Asskickin' under our belt, a lot of you might have some feuds you wanna get into, so feel free to reach out to other folks and stuff.
After the first Adrenalin, we'll be basing ally and enemy settings on both your requests (mostly for allies, there, if you've talked to someone and form an alliance) and on promos. For example, if your guy has a match and loses, and you don't promo that, we're going to assume your guy was good with getting beat, or harbors no ill will, so we won't be making any changes.
If anyone needs to know what their current settings are, we'll probably restructure this thread to reflect current settings, but it might not be updated a ton, so if you need to know and something looks odd in here, just ask me! w00 h00!

This is weird. About a week before the PPV, I set pretty much the cTn settings and Minion. After the event, which I simmed completely in exhibition mode (and I've never touched the Universe save at all), the cTn settings were all messed up, like completely. Werwulf and Manticore went from level 5 to level 1, and Monn' Joogra and Dragune were a couple of numbers off as well. Additionally, the base save was in slot 1, and I had made a Backwoods Asskickin'-specific copy in slot 2, to get the opening show footage.
I think the story here is, if you have a Universe mode in slot 1, even if that isn't the last universe you loaded and played in, that's gonna be the default one when you load the game, AND exhibition matches will apparently fuck with your settings.
I'm gonna try moving the base "master" save to slot 3 after I update a few things, and I'll play around and see if anything else happens. Weirdness. You wouldn't think exhibitions would affect Universe mode...

Hey Chups, how are the allies/rival stats going so far? Do they completely change after each event, or are they still the same? (or even are they so fucked we aren't bothering with them anymore? lol)

I've been changing them about once a month, just rearranging as things see fit, but so far they haven't done a damn thing (aside from the one random Dragune run-in on the first MyUniverse test show way back when), so they haven't been a priority like, at all. I've been thinking about changing some settings and testing it on a perpetual Universe mode- right now, we're essentially restarting the mode every single show, because I have a "core" save that has all the rivals & allies settings (and none of the bonus/etc. stuff that we can't change) where there are no rivalries, etc. etc. etc. And oddly enough, some of the settings on the core save HAVE changed. I've had to change things back a couple of times with regard to allies and rivals, I have no idea why. But all changes have basically been storyline-based, so no real point in updating it here- I just change it more or less as I see fit, but I haven't messed with it in the last month, so it's probably about time. But no, it doesn't change after the events, because we reset each time. Otherwise we'd have people with bonuses and injuries and etc. etc. etc. and while that would be intriguing and add a neat twist to the fed, we would have people out with injuries that we couldn't control, folks with bonuses- and I'm not really against any of it myself except for the injuries. If I could remove injuries, we'd probably just let it roll and it would just add to the simulation aspect of the game, but then we also have the whole backstage attack thing that occasionally removes people from shows, and once set we wouldn't be able to remove shows. (Once you start a show, you can't edit it on the fly- unfortunately.) Basically right now, with the lack of run-ins that aren't manually added, we could probably run the shows off exhibition mode for all the MyUniverse mode is doing for us, but I keep hoping against hope that at some point it'll kick in and stop being stupid. But I'll test it in the near future and see if I can change some settings that might actually make allies & rivals useful to us. I THINK they actually keep people in 6-man matches and the like from attacking each other unless it's necessary. Of course, that SEEMED to be the case until the Sinner Twins started beating the shit out of one another at the PPV. And sometimes the cTn go at it, but generally it seems like allies tend to leave each other alone more often than not. Anywho, tl;dr is I'm changing it, but it's not having a lot of effect anywho, and I'll test some stuff and see what happens.
