Ugh. Another year, another WWE 2k.
So they're already shilling it, play it 4 days early if you buy the Deluxe/Collector's/etc. version, but not a single detail about anything else at all.
The only thing is a trailer, which is decent for what it is, but c'mon. I really don't understand advertising something and showing people literally NOTHING about it. It's like the ComicCon teasers that are just a logo. YAY, there's gonna be a Captain Marvel movie! So fucking show me a picture or SOMETHING, you asswipes.
ANYWAY!
Just throwing some notes here. Unless the game substantially improves a good amount of items, we won't be switching game engines this year. There are a FEW things that would change this instantly:
I dunno about everyone else, but on the relaunch side of things here, a solid 2 months' worth of planning, work and testing went into getting us together enough to relaunch the fed. I know it's early in the year to even speculate (especially with no info!!!), but I'm just saying, there was a lot of work involved, and I can't see going through all of that from the start again unless the new game is just stellar as hell.
Of course, with XBox One X coming out, I bet this is the first one that will see any benefits from the tech- it will probably still be a bugged-out mess on the One & PS4, and will probably run like a Ferrari (comparitively) on the X and Pro.
ANYWHO, that's all speculation, just throwing this out there because frankly unless there's actually a good reason- a REALLY good reason- this might be the first time OCW uses the same engine for 2 years straight.
Of course, I'll probably be eating all of these words by the end of the year, but hey! Let's not dwell on that quite yet. LOL

- better AI (but it isn't like we'll know that till the game actually comes out, they say it's improved every single year)
- customization in match types (like we've had in previous games)
- more than 6 characters in-ring at the same time
- ability to transfer characters/other created items directly to the next game
