I just watched a great opening match of the ROH show with the tag-team War Machine. The bigger of the two men just did a springboard clothesline. It was a really good match.

You've gotta know you're stirring the pot with a post like this

I've never seen Andre the giant, big show, hulk hogan, long list of heavy/super-heavyweights, use springboard moves, either, lol.

Feel free to start up your own goddamn fed, and then you can come up with whatever rules you want.

Actually, fuck it. You've officially poked the bear one too many times. You're out, and the very first thing I'm doing when I get home is deleting your character. Go piss someone else off. Bye.

For the record- just in case anyone was wondering- I know there are heavyweight (and even in some cases superheavyweights) that can pull off fantastic moves. This is not why we don't allow springboard moves, though it does look weird and I generally don't like it, unless there's a good, goofy reason given for it.
Superheavies have the advantage of weight. Depending on weight (and opponent strength, and some other factors I really don't understand), superheavies can shove smaller guys away repeatedly. Some smaller guys can't lift the heavier superheavies. Now, I tested matches for like 2 months before restarting the fed, and yes, a lot of light heavies and cruisers beat superheavies in my tests. However, since supers definitely have at least a couple of advantages, I wanted cruisers and light heavies to have their own advantages, i.e. springboard moves. It's an issue of balance.
And heavyweights have kind of the best of all worlds, so I wasn't going to give them yet another advantage.
Anyway, that was my thinking behind it. Testing disproved the old "superheavies always win" adage, but I wanted to make sure. And so far it's worked pretty well with no problems.
Still, fuck Crypto and all that. I can't imagine being the newest guy in a fed and arguing with the owner as much as he has, and he managed to argue his way right out the door. Turning on the system and deleting his character right now.

I mean, he had to know the Ban Hammer was coming posting this? Like if he pointed out any other spot in the match, or even mentioned it along side another highlight, he coulda made it fly, lol
What I've learned from my time in different Feds is simply that rules are rules and if you don't like em there's other places to go. No need to stir shit up

I want to give Wargoth a springboard hurricanrana that he turns into a power bomb into the ringpost at the last second as he lands gracefully on the top turnbuckle and then does a 450 splash/pin combo.
Actually, make that a 450 splash head butt to the groin!

I just seriously can't understand how I can tell someone the same thing that many times and they still just don't get it. Ah well, ain't my problem anymore! lol

I just seriously can't understand how I can tell someone the same thing that many times and they still just don't get it. Ah well, ain't my problem anymore! lol Please, good sir, do tell. I need to screenshot all of my convos with him, but I pointed him to everything and explained everything he had to do to make his character, and yet he continually didn't know what he needed to do next. He kept coming up with stuff where his character was part of an existing character's history (and I told him to get with people), I had to repeat pretty much everything I told him up to 4 times each, and he kept telling me to "tell him about [insert character name/etc. here]" even after I already had, wouldn't leave me alone when I told him I was busy, was warned a huge number of times to straighten up and perform simple tasks to create his character, and generally had his hand held the entire process and STILL couldn't get it done, up to and including not knowing what a list was, when I told him that I had provided a list of what skills he had, which ones there were, and a link to posts describing what they did and which ones were mutually exclusive. He wouldn't shut the fuck up about some theme song he wanted to use despite me telling him it wasn't happening (because even if he got permission to use it, we're not having OCW videos taken down while YouTube investigates the allegations), and generally he was just pushy and a pain in the ass. I told him to ask people about joining their team for Gang Warfare and his responses were "I've opted to join," like it's just his decision. He was absolutely the worst experience I've had since restarting the fed. And the guys on YouTube posted a bunch of crap cussing him out and warning me that he was pushy and kept just wanting to do whatever he liked without regard to rules or other people and was annoying about it, which pretty much describes the whole thing to a "T." And I don't mind talking to folks on Facebook, but it was every night and every morning. Every post he read, liked. Every video he watched, commented on. Which separately or spaced out is fine, but when it's nonstop for like 5 days, it gets maddening.

...and smarted off when I corrected him after he tried to sound intelligent but didn't know a voodoo term he kept using. Not my fault if the guy tries to show his ass and it's covered in shit. I dunno, the dude was just like every fed's nightmare from the start, and when warned to cool the shit, he posted this post, and well... the rest be history.
