The camera slowly fades in to show Riley Taylor standing on the balcony overlooking the OCW Bar & Grill that he has usurped from certain other parties previously involved with the company which will remain nameless so as to prevent a potential lawsuit that the powers that be would surely want no part of. With a quick motion and a guttural sound uncommon for Riley, he raises the OCW X-Violence Championship, and his half of the OCW Tag Team Championship, presenting them to any onlookers on the ground below. Any reaction Riley gets goes unheard by the camera, being several stories below. Riley stands there, drinking it all in for several moment, before turning and stepping back into the condo and plopping down into one of the chairs in the living room. His arms, still holding one belt in each hand, slump over the armrests as he just sits there.
Several moments go by and the voices of Kim Bailleaux and Veronica Taylor are heard outside the door. Riley makes a move to get up, knowing what was about to come, but can hardly muster the energy. The door swings open to reveal Kim and Veronica carrying a few small bags, and the instant Veronica spots her brother, she charges at him and practically spears him out of his seat.
"RILEY! YOU WERE AWESOME OUT THERE!" Veronica squeals, hugging Riley tightly enough to crack a rib. And probably does. The look on Riley's face makes it look like she does, assuming one wasn't already busted.
"Veronica, go ahead and take the food into the kitchen. I have to talk to Riley." Veronica gives a quick nod after standing up, takes the bags of food from Kim and heads into the kitchen. Kim strolls over and plops down in the seat next to Riley.
"What'd you get?"
"Tacos." Riley nods his approval in response. The two sit there quietly for a while, at least one of them possibly due to upwards of thirteen simultaneous concussions. "I ran into Trevor Kraven again, there."
"Yeah?" Kim quietly nods. She pulls out a sealed envelope and hands it to Riley. He looks confused for a moment before tearing it open and, giving her a cautious side glance, begins to read the letter. It takes him a few moments, but as the information starts to sink in, he drops the letter and silently looks to Kim, as if seeking some confirmation.
"Apparently, it's not a one-time deal."
"WHAT?!"
